Evolution in Motion: an aerial dance piece

As part of the 2015 Atlanta Science Festival, I partnered with aerial dancer McKinley Campos to design an aerial dance piece conveying concepts of chemical evolution.

McKinley constructed a 6 foot long, steel double helix as a scaffold for the aerial dance performance. The dance performance illustrated day/night cycling and the gradual building of complexity through polymerization.
